For mainland Chinese users, the first stop for product research and vendor selection is no longer a search engine — it's AI assistants like Doubao (ByteDance). If Doubao answers "this brand doesn't exist, has no official website, and is just an open-source algorithm," your business disappears inside the answer.
That was exactly the problem facing yoyolink (Qiangji Medical) and its GI endoscopy AI-assisted diagnostic system. To make it harder, mainland medical products normally need ICP approval — at least one month — before they can go live on a mainland website. Using our AI methodology, GNS-GEO launched this mainland product in Hong Kong within one week (25 Aug 2026), then updated the data inside mainland AI such as Doubao — within a week, Doubao went from "no official website" (it even misspelled the brand as "YOLO-LINK") to correctly introducing the system.
Background: Doubao is already a brand's "first impression"
- When mainland users ask questions like "Does yoyolink have an official website?" or "Is the yoyolink GI endoscopy AI software any good?", they ask Doubao and other mainland AI assistants first
- yoyolink is a mainland medical product: the yoyolink endoscopic image processing, storage and transmission software (GI endoscopy AI-assisted diagnostic system), made by Qiangji Medical
- Before launch, Doubao described yoyolink as "not an officially registered brand," "no official website," "no medical device registration certificate," "no clinical validation" and "just an algorithm framework" — negative in every way
Goal and challenge
- Goal: get Doubao to correctly recognize the yoyolink brand, official website and system capabilities
- Challenge 1: mainland medical products normally need ICP approval — at least one month — before going live on a mainland website
- Challenge 2: the AI answer was already carrying wrong information that had to be corrected in the shortest possible time
- Timeline: go live and see results within one week
What we did
Step 1: AI citation audit — what does Doubao say about you?
We sent real questions to Doubao ("Does yoyolink have an official website?", "Is the yoyolink GI endoscopy AI software any good?") and recorded how the brand was described, what was wrong, and the citation gaps, pinpointing the parts that most needed correction.
Step 2: Fast launch from Hong Kong, bypassing lengthy approval
Going live directly on a mainland website would have meant waiting at least a month for ICP approval. GNS-GEO used a Hong Kong launch strategy instead, taking yoyolink live within one week (25 Aug 2026), so the product information immediately had an official page that AI could cite.
Step 3: AI-friendly content restructuring
We rebuilt the product description into a clear structure AI can easily understand and cite — turning "just an algorithm framework" into verifiable product facts:
- Integrated hardware-and-software workstation
- Innovative medical device registration certificate obtained
- 1,000+ clinical case validations (major Shanghai hospitals)
- Complete system: application server + database + image capture + clients
- Compatible with Olympus, Fujifilm, Pentax and other major endoscope brands
- On-premise edge inference — data never leaves the hospital
- Quality control: withdrawal time, Boston bowel preparation score, coverage inspection
- HIS/PACS integration with a closed-loop information security chain
Step 4: Monitoring and fine-tuning
We tracked Doubao's answers daily after launch and kept refining the content until the incorrect description was replaced by the correct one.
Result: errors fully corrected within 7 days — before on the left, after on the right
All three comparisons below are real Doubao answer screenshots: on the left is 26 Aug (1 day after launch), when the old data was still not updated; on the right is 31 Aug (7 days after launch), after correction.
① Does yoyolink have an official website?
② Is the yoyolink GI endoscopy AI software any good?
③ Compare with other products on the market?
The client's initial requirements — all achieved within 7 days
These were the client's initial requirements; GNS-GEO delivered every one of them within 7 days, and Doubao's AI answers were updated accordingly.

Why did it work so fast?
- Fast Hong Kong launch: the mainland route would have meant waiting at least a month for ICP approval; GNS-GEO's Hong Kong launch strategy got the site live in one week
- GEO optimizes the signals AI actually reads: brand entities, structured data, verifiable track record and consistent semantic descriptions — when an AI engine recognizes and trusts you, it updates its answers
- Launch and correction completed within one week: the site went live on 25 Aug and Doubao's answers were fully updated by 31 Aug — Doubao and similar mainland AI assistants are highly sensitive to authoritative official pages, so once a trustworthy source exists, the answer updates
Summary
The AI search era is not just about Google Gemini — in the mainland market, Doubao and other AI assistants are becoming users' "first impression" of a brand. If a mainland medical product can go live in one week and fix its Doubao answers within 7 days, what can't your brand do?
