Because the same measurement method is used on every client. Publishing our own site's raw numbers lets clients compare how the identical scans and metrics perform on a different website.
How does 51.5% coverage compare with the 86.5% client case?
They are not directly comparable — different periods, query sets, and industries. The GNS site's query set covers IT/SI/MSP terms, where the number of competitors and the content landscape differ. What matters is the trend for each: our own site rose from 0% to 51.5%.
